In collaboration with the Museum of Discovery and Science’s newest exhibit “Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum”, Flamingo Gardens is highlighting the work of American journalist, author, and environmental activist Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Explore her life and the qualities that made her a “Hero of the Everglades”. Learn how you too can be an everyday hero and make a difference in your community and on the planet.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Hero of the Everglades will be on display in the Gallery daily, from 9:30am – 4:30pm, from April 5th through May 11th, 2025.

Admission to the Gardens, Including Exhibit:
• $24.00 for ages 12+,
• $17.00 for ages 3-11,
• Flamingo Gardens members and children 2 or younger are admitted free.
• Flamingo Garden’s is open 7 days a week. Last admission at 4pm.
Flamingo Gardens is located at 3750 South Flamingo Road in Davie, FL 33330. Narrated tram tour, Wray Home Museum, Butterfly Conservatory, Wildlife Specialist Talks, Wildlife Encounter Presentations, and Gallery exhibits are included in admission.
